Google’s ₹1.25 Lakh Crore AI Hub in Visakhapatnam: A Leap Toward India’s Digital Future
In a move set to redefine India’s position in the global technology landscape, Google has announced a monumental investment of around ₹1.25 lakh crore, equivalent to $15 billion, to establish its first Artificial Intelligence hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Spread across five years from 2026 to 2030, this initiative is the largest single investment Google has made in the country, signaling both a commitment to India’s digital future and an acknowledgment of the nation’s rapidly expanding technology ecosystem.
