Apple

Apple’s early story in India was bittersweet. Demand existed, but pricing and production made us a niche brand. The problem was over-reliance on global supply chains, particularly China.

The solution: India. By expanding manufacturing in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, with Foxconn and Pegatron scaling facilities, we’re making India both a market and a hub.

Today, flagship Apple Stores in Delhi and Mumbai symbolize this shift. Nearly 25% of iPhones could be made in India within three years, creating jobs and reducing risks. Meanwhile, EMI plans and localized offers make iPhones accessible to more Indians than ever before.

Our future? To embed Apple into India’s digital economy—not just as a luxury brand but as an everyday ecosystem of devices and services.
